Lagos, Nigeria: Leading figures from across the global gaming industry will be heading towards Nigeria in the spring of 2016 to attend the World Regulatory Briefing (WrB) Africa event in Lagos – one of the continent’s most prominent markets.
The event aims to realise the huge market potential of Sub-Saharan Africa, and is part of the WrB Series run by Clarion Events. Influential decision-makers representing global operators & suppliers, regulators from across the Sub-Saharan region and more will be in attendance, all hoping to benefit from the wealth of local knowledge and experience the gathered panel of industry luminaries will be sharing.
With preparations already underway, key themes for the event to date include the opportunities and appetite for foreign investment, infrastructure solutions, retail and online convergence as well as local marketing trends.
Africa’s key regulators will also be revealing how to gain a licence within their country, and how to best operate within their individual regulatory frameworks.
Lanre Gbajabiamula, CEO at Lagos Lottery Board, who will be speaking at the event, commented: “We are really pleased to be associated with WrB Africa, it’s a great event that the market demands and I’m excited at the opportunities that it will create for the Sub-Saharan gaming industry!”
Rory Credland, Event Director at Clarion, stated: “It will be fantastic to bring together so many people from across the globe to talk about responsible gambling and how we can help to create a sustainable future for one of the Gaming industry’s high-potential markets.
The event will bring together the cream of the industry to share best business practice in this challenging market, and ensure the industry keeps moving forward positively into 2016 and beyond.”
