The Visa Waiver Program (VWP) is a program of the United States Government which allows citizens of specific countries to travel to the United States for tourism, business, or while in transit for up to 90 days without having to obtain a visa.
The countries which are part of the VWP are;
- Czech Republic
- New Zealand
- San Marino
- South Korea
- United Kingdom
If you are flying to GiGse from a country not listed above, please liaise with the American embassy in your country before they travel to check whether they require a visa or not.

From Immediate Effect, The Department of Homeland Security have altered the Visa Waiver Program.
Travellers in the following categories are no longer eligible to travel or be admitted to the United States under the VWP:
- Nationals of VWP countries who have been present in Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, or Yemen or countries listed under specified designation lists at any time on or after March 1, 2011 (with limited government/military exceptions).
- If you have traveled to one of the seven countries covered by the new eligibility requirements on or after March 1, 2011, Customs & Border Protection (CBP) recommends that you do apply for a new ESTA authorization to help facilitate your travel to the United States, or apply for a visa.
